After reading the GUARDIAN article, "Katrina Aid Goes Toward Football Condos," I became so disgusted that I haven't been able to think straight.

I am outraged to say the least!!! I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY WE ALL AREN'T MARCHING IN THE STREETS!!! Down on our Mississippi Gulf Coast, just sub Football with "Tourists" or rich folks who want a 2nd. or 3rd. "Get-Away" and you have the same situation.


Are condos, such as those listed on the MS Go Zone site, supposed to help the people on the coast who NEED A HOUSE TO LIVE IN??????

HAVE YOU SEEN AND READ OVER THE GO ZONE SITE???

DOES the GENERAL PUBLIC UNDERSTAND THIS SCAM which was PUT TOGETHER by TRENT LOTT and ALL OF HIS BIG MONEY PALS????

WHY ARE PEOPLE LIKE LOTT, BARBOUR, and BUSH (who signed Lott's bill) CONTINUING TO GET AWAY WITH THIS KIND OF CRAP?

WHO DO YOU THINK IT IS BENEFITING?

WOULD SOMEONE EXPLAIN TO ME WHY AN INVESTOR IN CALIFORNIA SHOULD BENEFIT FROM KATRINA BY PURCHASING INVESTMENT PROPERTY – CONDOS? YET AFTER TWO YEARS, PEOPLE ARE IN NEED OF A REAL HOME AND THEY CAN'T GET DIDDLY-SQUAT!!!

This caption makes me want to hurl and/or punch someone...This remark is an insult to the very people who have lived and worked on the coast for GENERATIONS!!!
